Description

This tahini yogurt dressing is rich, tangy, and so easy to make. With just a handful of ingredients, it brings creamy texture and bold flavor to everything from salads and grain bowls to grilled meats and wraps.

Ingredients

1 - 2 tbsp tahini

1 - 2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 cup Greek yogurt

1 small garlic clove, minced

1/2 tsp sumac

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix the ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, Greek yogurt, minced garlic, and sumac. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  2. Adjust consistency: If you prefer a thinner dressing, add 1-2 tablespoons of water until your desired consistency is reached.

  3. Serve: Use immediately or refrigerate until needed.

Notes

To thin down the dressing - Add 1 tbsp of water at a time, whisk together until you reach the desired consistency.

Make Ahead: Whisk it up to 3–4 days in advance—it gets even better as it sits!
Storage: Store in a sealed jar or airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Not freezer friendly: This dressing doesn’t freeze well due to the yogurt base.
