These Strawberry banana smoothie bowls are thick, creamy, and naturally sweetened with dates for a wholesome breakfast you can enjoy with a spoon. Made with frozen strawberries, banana, and almond milk, this dairy-free smoothie bowl is both refreshing and satisfying.
Ingredients
1 cup (250 ml) almond milk (or milk of your choice)
2 - 3 (30 g) fresh dates, pitted and soaked in 3 tbsp boiling water
1 banana, sliced
3 1/2 cups (450 g) frozen strawberries
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
For Garnish:
5-6 fresh strawberries, washed and sliced
1 banana, sliced
Homemade granola (or toasted seeds and nuts)
Instructions
1. Soak the Dates
Place the pitted dates in a small bowl with 3 tablespoons of boiling water. Let soak for 10 minutes to soften, then drain.
2. Blend the Smoothie
Add the almond milk, soaked dates, banana, frozen strawberries, cinnamon, and vanilla bean paste to a blender. Start blending on low speed, then increase to high until smooth and creamy.
3. Assemble the Bowls and add Toppings
Divide the smoothie mixture between two bowls.
Arrange sliced strawberries, banana, and a handful of homemade granola (or toasted nuts and seeds) on top.
4. Serve and Enjoy
Serve immediately!

Storage Instructions
