Healthy Dill Mustard Sauce (Perfect for Salmon and Fish)

Description

This versatile dill mustard sauce is made with simple ingredients and fresh herbs. Follow our step-by-step instructions to create this creamy and delicious sauce, perfect for salmon, fish and enhancing the flavor of your favorite recipes. Plus it’s pretty healthy too!


Ingredients

150g (5 oz) Plain Yogurt

2 tbsp Fresh Dill, chopped

1 tsp Wholegrain Dijon Mustard

1-2 tsp Lemon Juice and Finely Grated Zest

Drizzle of Honey (optional)


Instructions

1. Combine the yogurt, fresh dill, mustard, lemon juice, and zest together in a small bowl.

2. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

3. Taste and adjust your seasoning as needed. Feel free to add more lemon juice or a drizzle of honey to suit your taste.

4. Give your sauce at least 20 minutes to ‘rest’ so that the flavors can develop.

 

Notes

Chef’s Tip: For a salad dressing, simply thin down the sauce with a little water.

Storage Instructions - Fridge: Store in an airtight container for 2-3 days. Make Ahead: Refrigerate in an airtight container for 2-3 days. Remember to give it a good stir before serving. Freeze: Unfortunately, this sauce isn't suitable for freezing, but it's so delicious that you'll likely finish it within days!
