Description
This passion fruit sauce is bright, tangy, and incredibly easy to make. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a smooth passion fruit coulis that’s perfect for drizzling over desserts, breakfast bowls, and more
Ingredients
1 1/2 cup fresh passion fruit pulp (about 8-10 passion fruits)
1/2 cup (100 g) caster sugar (adjust to taste)
1-2 tsp lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
1. Add the passion fruit pulp and sugar to a small saucepan set over medium heat.
2. Stir gently until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture begins to simmer.
3. Cook for 10 - 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
4. Remove from the heat and allow to cool completely.
5. Taste and add lemon juice if needed for brightness.
6. Strain through a fine sieve to remove some or all of the seeds. For a more rustic finish, leave the seeds in.

Fridge: Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Freezer: Freeze for up to 2–3 months in small portions.
