Description
This healthy cranberry smoothie is bright, refreshing, and naturally sweet — the perfect way to use fresh or frozen cranberries all year round. It blends into a creamy, tangy drink with the most gorgeous color and takes just minutes to make.
Ingredients
5 - 6 clementines, peeled (about 600 g / 21 oz)
2 banana, sliced
3-4 tsp (15-20 ml) honey or maple syrup, to taste
1 1/2 cup (150 g / 5 oz) fresh or frozen cranberries
1 1/2 cup (100 g / 3.5 oz) frozen pineapple chunks
Instructions
1. Layer the ingredients
Add the clementine segments to the blender first, followed by the sliced banana. Drizzle in the honey or maple syrup. Top with the cranberries and frozen pineapple chunks.
2. Blend until smooth
Begin blending on low speed, then increase to high. Blend for 45–60 seconds, or until the smoothie is thick, creamy, and vibrant in color.
3. Taste and adjust
Taste the smoothie. If you’d like it sweeter, add a touch more honey or maple syrup, then blend again.
4. Serve
Pour into two glasses and serve right away. Garnish with an extra cranberry or pineapple chunk on the rim for a fun touch.
